    With Love

Hi friends, Thanks for joining me for today’s card which is a slightly different style from my cards of late. I went for a simple elegant style using a textured laid ivory cardstock on Simon Says Stamp red card stock.  I stamped and die cut clearly besotted Wild Rose florals using hero arts red royal, raspberry jam and orange soda inks.  The leaves are stamped with hero arts mowed lawn with some evergreen bough distress ink for some deeper colour.  I haven’t used my ribbon stash in ages, it was lovely to have a dig through and choose some today.  A few black paint splatters and clear sequins to finish.…

June Reminder @ The Flower Challenge

Hello friends Its reminder time at The Flower Challenge For my entry this time I chose #12 Tic-Tac-Toe and the column blue/CAS/sentiment For my card I took some aqua paper and lightly pounced some hero arts unicorn white pigment ink through a Winnie and Walter leaf stencil for a subtle background. Clearly besotted floral CAS card

Hiya Todays card is a very CAS card using a gorgeous bouquet of flowers by Clearly Besotted. I had the Flower Challenge – Anything Goes in mind when making this card ( they have an open DT spot and I would love…

Week 1: The daily marker 30 challenge

Hey everyone.  Kathy Racoosin hosts a 30 day marker challenge periodically to encourage us all to take 10 minutes a day to sit, relax and colour.  You can use pens, pencils, paints, anything at all.  This is my first time following along, it started July 5th and I thought in this post I would add my cards or images that I colour.  Some days it might just be a little, other days I may be able to make a card.  That’s what’s lovely about this challenge it’s supposed to be very easy and relaxing and you don’t have to enter every day either if you can’t manage.  Which is great…
