Hi friends, I just received this cute turtle stamp from heffy doodle and had to play with it straight away. Firstly I found this fab stamp by Mama Elephant called modern borders, it may be retired now, and thought the scallop would make a great looking sea. I used my tim holtz stamping platform to help stamp my ‘sea’ with Altenew inks in shades of blue. Next I stamped my turtle with memento tuxedo black ink which is Copic friendly, fussy cut it and did some quick and easy colouring. Then I trimmed down my scallop panel and used my tim holtz knife to create little flaps around the waves…

Freehand watercolour roses
Hey everyone, Today’s card really pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I watercoloured some roses freehand in pretty pink tones using my gansai tambi paints. Once dried I used the pretty scallop rectangle by Winnie and Walter which really helped to smooth out some of the warping on the watercolour paper. The sentiment is one of my go to happy anniversary sentiments by Mama Elephant. I had an accident with my enamel dots (oops) so had to add loads to cover up and try and make the piece look balanced. Blue and Yellow Potted Pretties Card
Hi everyone! Today’s card uses the lovely Mama Elephant Potted Pretties stamp set in colours I would not normally try. Aren’t the little bees just darling? I used Simon Says Stamp yellow cardstock for the base, Neenah Solar White to stamp on and Zig Clean Colour Watercolour markers to colour. Seven Hills Crafts Challenge August – Geometry
I have left this one right to the last minute this month. The challenge at Seven Hills Crafts is geometry and I have struggled with ideas to be honest. Then this morning at 6.30am while I was willing my 15 month old to go back to sleep I remembered that the shapes on my Mama Elephant Full House set might work. Yay. New Home card – Potted Pretties

My in-laws have just moved closer to us now that Harvey is on the scene which is really lovely and I wanted to make a new home card for my mother in law that reflected her colours and style.
