Hiya Is it frosty or snowing where you are yet? Can’t believe it is December already! We are having bright but cold days here on the north coast of Scotland, but looking forward to some snow ⛄️ This month at The Flower Challenge we are looking for dies to be used in your floral creations. Cracker Box and Suzy Stamp are our sponsors with a $25 gift certificate and we have the wonderful Nancy Penir as our guest designer. For my card I have combined some gorgeous luxury metallic and glitter card stocks in gold hues from Crafters Companion along with Ellen Hutson Rustic Botanicals dies and a MFT sentiment…

Winter Flowers
Hi friends Its reminder time at The Flower Challenge which is spots/stripes. My card features the gorgeous winter flower digi stamp by Alex Syberia, coloured with my spectrum noir illustrator markers. The spots are splattered with white paint on the base of my card and the edges darkened with distress inks. Looking forward to seeing what you create. Some links above may contain affiliate links to support my blog at no additional cost to you. Thank you.

Use spots or stripes
Hi friends Its November already and cold and windy here in Scotland. So more reasons to stay in and create! Ha. As if I need an excuse. This month at The Flower Challenge we are incorporating spots or stripes into our designs. I added some striped paper with the beautiful sweet peas by Altenew, gold heat embossed and water coloured with Mijello Mission gold paints. We are sponsored this month and there is a prize! by Top Flight Stamps whose store sells a variety of stamps by companies such as Hero Arts and Crafters Companion as well as some smaller companies. Looking forward to seeing what you create!

Keeping it to see CAS with Casual Fridays stamps
Hello! We are encouraging you to make CAS cards this month at the flower challenge. And we are sponsored by Casual Fridays stamps who are very generously giving away a voucher to the winner. Whoop! I hope you will check out all the design team inspiration, and here is my card using the pretty posies stamp set and sentiment by Casual Friday. For some added extra interest I put my sentiment vertical and hand drew a flower stalk through the sentiment. I used my Mijello mission gold water colour paints to add some colour to the beautiful blooms.
