Hi everyone For this card I used distress oxide barn door Ink and picked raspberry distress ink to create my ink smooshed background. Then I copic coloured and fuzzy cut some images from Altenew coffee love set. The sentiment is stamped in black archival ink direct to the watercolour background using my mini Misti. The current CAS watercolour challenge for February 2019 is to use red and pink. and the Just Add Ink challenge is red, pink and another colour – for me it’s grey. I am also entering this into the HLS Feb watercolor Challenge Thanks for visiting me today, hope you have a happy day.

    Let’s celebrate with Pinkfresh Studio

Hello my lovely friends Todays card is for the current Pinkfresh Studio Challenge: watercolor I took a panel of Watercolour cardstock and used distress inks in spun sugar, worn lipstick and picked raspberry along with water and used ink smooshing to create my panel.  The key for depth is to dry the paper and add layers. I trimmed my piece down and matted it into black cardstock. Next I used an anti static bag to prep my card and stamped tiny stars in versamark ink, cover with hero arts detail white embossing powder and heat set. Pink and grey ink smooshing colour combo

Hi I made this card a few days ago, with the intention of sharing it with you straight away and then life got in the way of blogging.  Does that happen to you to?  Lol. Ink Smooshing with distress inks

Ink smooshing baby card with Winnie and Walter

Hey my lovely peeps! Would you like a sneak peek of today’s colourful baby card? Isn’t it bright and fun? I had such a great time with this background.  I tried a new technique (to me) and am surprised it kind of (?) worked.  I downloaded a digital file from Winnie and Walter called Mini Scenery:multi-faceted elements and cut it out of acetate with my silhouette cameo so that I had a stencil.  I then ink smooshed distress inks – mustard seed, wild honey and cracked pistachio – over the stencil.  I didn’t add too much water and I think that helped it not bleed to much.  Can you see the…

Winnie and Walter cute ink blended baby card

Hi everyone! I hope your having a great day. Here’s a cute baby card using Winnie and Walter Goodies: Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs.  I dusted off my silhouette cameo, downloaded the Winnie and Walter scenery: Big Bang confetti cut files and cut out one of the designs on acetate to use as a stencil. I used distress inks to blend my starry background and zig markers to loose watercolour the cute giraffe tag.  I added some cute beads to the string and some silver star sequins (I used my silhouette pick up stick to place the stars on the card and it has left a residue,…
