Hiya! Can you believe it’s August?? This months theme at The Flower Challenge is to use your favourite flower. This is a difficult one for me as I love all flower but especially roses and peonies. I thought this floral stamp by clearly besotted is so beautiful and fits the bill perfectly. My card background features the falling leaf stencil by clearly besotted using distress oxide inks and paint splatters. I coloured my flowers with a mix of oxide inks and spectrum noir water reactive inks. The sentiment is also clearly besotted – I always need loads of Anniversary cards. We will weather this storm together
Hiya I stepped outside of my comfort zone with today’s card. I coloured the delightful honey bee stamp girl and her teddy bear a few weeks ago with copic markers and then I remembered a Clearly Besotted fall flurry stencil. I used distress oxide inks – red barn, ripe persimmon and mustard seed to create my background. I used moonstone glimmer paste through the stencil. Once dry I added vellum and white card clouds along the top of the panel. The sentiments are also from the same Honey Bee set called seasonal sweeties. Let’s meet for coffee soon
Hi everyone For this card I used distress oxide barn door Ink and picked raspberry distress ink to create my ink smooshed background. Then I copic coloured and fuzzy cut some images from Altenew coffee love set. The sentiment is stamped in black archival ink direct to the watercolour background using my mini Misti. The current CAS watercolour challenge for February 2019 is to use red and pink. and the Just Add Ink challenge is red, pink and another colour – for me it’s grey. The Flower Challenge #26 – Reminder Time
Hey lovelies Its reminder time at The Flower Challenge. I hope you’ve had a chance to make a card and join us. If not the Design Team and I have even more inspiration for you. My card this time is for my favourite kind of card to give, a wedding anniversary congrats. I love this sentiment by heffy doodle and the florals by Pinkfresh Studio. I heat embossed these in gold, distress inked the whole background with ripe persimmon, barn door and ground espresso. Next I used metallic gansai tambi paints to colour the leaves and flowers and added stickles to the centres off the flowers for added sparkle. The…
