Hi I wanted to pull out my gansai tambi paints and use a different colour palate than I would normally gravitate to. I gold heat embossed leaves from Simon Says Stamp Spring Leaves set. The sentiment is an older one but oh so lovely, by clearly besotted, gold embossed on vellum, backed with black card and covered with clear wink of stella. This card is entered into the following challenges: SSSflickrchallenge 83 – thankful Addicted to Stamps and More– make your mark Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – monochrome Happy little stampers watercolour – optional twist gold

Gold watercolour wedding card using Simon Says Stamp
Hey lovelies. I have made lots of cards with the fabulous spring flowers set by Simon Says Stamp and I’m still not fed up of it. Hope you are still enjoying the cards too! Today’s card combined some of my favourite techniques – heat embossing and then watercolouring with the gold and pearlescent colours from my gansai tambi paints. I die cut my new spellbinders nest-abilities basic hearts in gold and white paper, used my mini Misti to stamp all the sentiments and then assembled the card. The sentiments are by Mama Elephant. (Links below) Don’t you just love the pearlescent shimmeryness on those flowers! I am entering this card…

SSS fall leaves card
Today’s card is simple but I really love the autumn (fall) colours. The leaves are beginning to change here in North East Scotland and just look beautiful. I embossed my sentiment and leaf images with SSS rose gold embossing powder which has a lovely coppery look and then watercoloured using my gansai tambi paints. The sentiment has a embossed frame using a stitched rectangle die, I love the effect. I am entering this card into the following challenge: Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge 54 – Capture the colours of Fall And SSS Monday Challenge – Powder Power Products listed below using affiliate links at no additional cost to you in…

Marker Pop Challenge #103: Watercolor
The current Bi-Weekly challenge at Marker Pop is Watercolor. I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints along with the Altenew Coffee Love set to create this autumny card. I used rose gold embossing powder which has a lovely coppery going to it to heat emboss the images – the second pic below really shows how it catches the light. I love it. My misti was invaluable too so I could lay out all my stamps and sentiment and ink them all up at once and them stay straight, it’s just brilliant, I used to waste so much ink and paper. I also made this card with the layout of…

Metallic watercolouring with Simon Says Stamp
For the last couple of days of the daily marker 30 day challenge I used my metallic paints in my kuretake gansai tambi set to colour these beautiful spring flowers by Simon says stamp on black cardstock. I only used a little water and so I didn’t need to worry about warping. I entered both these cards into the Simon says Stamp Flickr challenge #50 – anything goes and this first card was in the Simon Wednesday Challenge – anything goes Second card: This second card is going into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Fabulous Floral
