Happy Friday!
Todays card employs on of my favourite techniques – using stamps to create my own patterned paper.
First of all I did a bit of stamp surgery and cut apart a sentiment stamp from the Welcome to the Family set so that I could stamp Happy all over my white card. I also used a heart from the same set and added it to the background.
I die cut a circle and used a leaf stem stamp from In Bloom: Addies Garden to create my pattern on the circle piece. Next I smooshed peacock feathers and mowed lawn distress inks onto a stamped flower, fussy cut it and added wink of Stella. Then I assembled it all to a black cardbase with some thread and three enamel dots.
