Hello everyone It’s reminder time already at The Flower Challenge, and dont forget you can win a stamp set from Altenew, all details are over at The Flower Challenge. My background combines white heat embossing over distress oxide ink blending and the bleaching technique. To ‘bleach’ I used a paintbrush to add water to areas of the image and after a few seconds I dabbed the water off with a dry cloth. Because distress oxide inks are water reactive you reactivate the colour and dab it away. I love this effect. The heat embossed stamps are from Altenew Golden Garden. I stamped some florals from Altenew Golden Garden and fussy…

card fail?
Hiya. So… quite a title eh? I uhmed and ahhed about posting this card. I am sure there are many of you that spend ages trying to perfect a card, tweaking it here and there and still it just doesn’t feel, right at the end sometimes. This card is like that but I spent so much time on it that I thought you know what, maybe there are parts that may still inspire someone – even if it’s in a what not to do kind of way, lol. There are also elements I love and bits that I just don’t feel work. Maybe it will grow on me – would…

Repeated background stamping – red and blue Scandinavian print
Hey everyone. As you know I love creating my own backgrounds and the Neat and Tangled Scandinavian prints set is perfect for this. I used hero arts shadow inks on Neenah solar white cardstock and matted this onto a Simon Says Stamp side folding red card base. The sentiment is stamped on vellum. This card is entered into the following challenges: Little Tangles challenge 76: Anything goes Task for Two Tuesday #68: Red and Blue

Floral Background Stamping
hey everyone! Can you believe it’s 2017 already? Today I’m sharing a card for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge – anything goes. I created the floral panel using MFT pretty posies stamps and hero arts shadow inks. The sentiment die is by SSS and covered with glossy accents. I just love the pop of colour from the pink SSS cardstock! A little (or a lot) of clear wink of Stella finishes it off. Hope you like today’s card.

Simon Says Stamp Challenges Stitch it Up and Cut it Out
Hey everyone! Today’s card is super simple and follows a similar look to some of my recent cards. I used the SSS Spring flowers set along with distress inks to create a floral focal point. I then used the painted thanks die to do a bit of inlay diecutting, added some twine and some enamel dots and wink of Stella. As always would love to know what you think. I am entering this card into the following challenges: Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – Stitch it up ( I used a stitched rectangle die) Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge 52: Cut It Out ( I used the painted thanks die)…
