Vellum and Shimmer challenges

Hey everyone, you know I love the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and this week it’s Add Some Shimmer.  The card below is my entry.

I am also entering this into a blog named hero challenge on vellum.
Vellum challenge

MFT pretty posies

I stamped flowers and leaves from MFT pretty posies set onto vellum with my Hero Arts Black India Ink, quickly coloured them with my copics and fussy cut them out.  This hero arts ink is great on vellum, it doesn’t take long to dry and still looks crisp and black.  I used the MFT peekaboo circle to cut an opening into my top card panel and then glued my flowers around the opening.

I then cut up a sentiment ‘gasp’ from MFT Because You set so that I could fit it in the circle opening – I stamped this directly to my card base.  I added some pretty pink twine and sequins and coloured my flowers with a wink of Stella – I love the shimmer this adds.
