Hello Shaker Card

Hi my friends,

I spent a pleasurable hour grappling with this card and learning from multiple mistakes 🙊🤣, hopefully the next time will be much easier. I knew I wanted to turn the Home die by Winnie and Walter into a shaker word and I think I tried every way possible to get it sealed properly so that those beads don’t go everywhere, lol. I must have been tired the day I made this because it really is a simple technique. I did lots of diecutting of the home die – multiple times with stick it adhesive sheets and fun foam and then cutting up tiny bits of acetate and trying to stick them only over the openings in the letters.

Apart from that a simple blended background with Victorian velvet distress ink and some black ink splatters is all that’s needed. The sentiment is from sending you by W&W.

I am entering this card into the following Winnie & Walter challenges:

Shaker challenge with Lea – love themed card

Four Challenge with Shay – 4 little shaker windows

and other challenges:

creatalicious challenge – Anything goes option love/anniversary/thinking of you
