CASology week 212: Fun + HLS August Challenge

The challenge this week at CASology is Fun!

And at Happy Little Stamper – Masking

I used the Kite from the Happy Day Simon Says Stamp set and used my misti and some masking to make my kite border.  I then fussy cut the kite ‘heads’ from some lawn fawn plaid paper from my May 2016 SSS card kit.  The sentiment is from the Avery Elle Bring on The Cake set and I used my misti again to create the word Fun using Mama Elephant Calli Letter stamp set.  I then used my gansai tambi paints to add a blue wash around the kites.

Would love to know what you think! Hope your having a great day!

You know I love the way you use those adorable kites, and seeing that perfectly straight sentiment reminds me how desperately I need a MISTI…My birthday’s only a few months away now, so fingers crossed… Anyway, I love how you have kept all the action to one-third of your card, and your choice of plaid is ideal. Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!

Thank you so much! I do love my misti, I can’t believe how much I have saved in ink, paper and time being able to stamp my sentiment right first time. I just wish I had saved a bit more and bought the regular size rather than the mini, it’s just not big enough if you want to use 6×6 background stamps etc. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
