Hi friends Its November already and cold and windy here in Scotland. So more reasons to stay in and create! Ha. As if I need an excuse. This month at The Flower Challenge we are incorporating spots or stripes into our designs. I added some striped paper with the beautiful sweet peas by Altenew, gold heat embossed and water coloured with Mijello Mission gold paints. We are sponsored this month and there is a prize! by Top Flight Stamps whose store sells a variety of stamps by companies such as Hero Arts and Crafters Companion as well as some smaller companies. Looking forward to seeing what you create!

The Flower Challenge May 2019 – Reminder
Hello everyone It’s reminder time already at The Flower Challenge, and dont forget you can win a stamp set from Altenew, all details are over at The Flower Challenge. Heat or Dry Embossing | The Flower Challenge May 2019
Hi friends, For the May 2019 Flower Challenge we have the challenge of Heat or Dry Embossing on your cards. If you join in you also have the chance of winning a stamp set from Altenew. For my card I used the Altenew leafy frame, die cut and layered a number of times from white cardstock for dimension. I added this to an ink blended background using Victorian velvet and worn lipstick distress inks. For the central panel I gold heat embossed the floral from Altenew Golden Garden and coloured it with Spectrum Noir Aquatint markers. The sentiment is from Altenew Love Labels. I hope you will also check out…

Let’s meet for coffee soon
Hi everyone For this card I used distress oxide barn door Ink and picked raspberry distress ink to create my ink smooshed background. Then I copic coloured and fuzzy cut some images from Altenew coffee love set. The sentiment is stamped in black archival ink direct to the watercolour background using my mini Misti. The current CAS watercolour challenge for February 2019 is to use red and pink. and the Just Add Ink challenge is red, pink and another colour – for me it’s grey. I am also entering this into the HLS Feb watercolor Challenge Thanks for visiting me today, hope you have a happy day.
