Banner shaped card ft Alex Syberia design

Hi friends, It’s reminder time at the Flower Challenge and we are looking for shaped cards. We are also sponsored by the amazing Alex Syberia. For my card I made a banner shape by diecutting two 300gsm white stitched banner shapes by Simon Says Stamp. The back piece I scored an inch from the top to create a hinge and added strong glue to adhere to the front banner. The front has cracked pistachio and chipped sapphire distress oxide blending, the beautiful winter flowers image by Alex Syberia and a heffy doodle embossed sentiment. The floral piece was coloured with the following spectrum noir illustrator pens: TB2, TB4, LY1, LY3,…

    Happy Anniversary Card

Happy Ant-iversary with Create a Smile Stamps

Hi friends Once again I am using a lovely freebie from Create a Smile for this card. The current challenge is a card for someone special and I really think anniversary cards are so well deserved by the recipients and a lovely way to express love for them. I used nuvo glitter and a heart stencil for the background and when dry added some scattered straw distress ink over the bottom for a sunset effect. I added some distress ink to my hillside borders and then added these copic coloured ants (freebie digi stamp from create a Smile). Some die cut hearts, a punny sentiment created on my pc and…

    Wplus9 ranunculus card

Hi everyone.  I watercoloured this beautiful ranunculus bouquet by wplus 9 in grey for today’s card.  Firstly I created a stitched rectangle piece with a sentiment printed in my of.  Then I heat embossed the flower with white embossing powder and watercoloured with my kuretake gansai tambi paints and a very fine tip brush.  When dry I added some ink splatters and some twine.
