Hello everyone It’s reminder time already at The Flower Challenge, and dont forget you can win a stamp set from Altenew, all details are over at The Flower Challenge. My background combines white heat embossing over distress oxide ink blending and the bleaching technique. To ‘bleach’ I used a paintbrush to add water to areas of the image and after a few seconds I dabbed the water off with a dry cloth. Heat or Dry Embossing | The Flower Challenge May 2019
Hi friends, For the May 2019 Flower Challenge we have the challenge of Heat or Dry Embossing on your cards. If you join in you also have the chance of winning a stamp set from Altenew. For my card I used the Altenew leafy frame, die cut and layered a number of times from white cardstock for dimension. I added this to an ink blended background using Victorian velvet and worn lipstick distress inks. For the central panel I gold heat embossed the floral from Altenew Golden Garden and coloured it with Spectrum Noir Aquatint markers. The sentiment is from Altenew Love Labels. I hope you will also check out…

GD CAS Watercolour: Poppy
Hi friendsI’m absolutely thrilled to have been asked to be a guest designer at CAS watercolour this month. For my first card using the theme poppy I created this card using clearly besotted stamps. I used my zig clean colour real brush markers to add the colour to my flowers and background. I added a simple white heat embossed sentiment, some white highlights to the flowers and a couple of jewels. I hope you like my card and will join us this month. Can’t wait to see what you create.

Gold Heat Embossing with Simon Says Stamp
Hi friends. Sorry for the radio silence, I am currently battling illness. I have antibiotics so all should be better soon. The month has flown by and it’s now reminder time at The Flower Challenge: Monochrome. So either black, white, grey or one colour or shades of one colour. For this card I have gone for gold with white and vellum. Lots of heat embossing of Simon Says Stamp products using their Folk dance stencil for the background with images, dies and sentiment from their lovely spring set. Some white nuvo drops were added for accents. I hope you like the card and will join us at The Flower Challenge.
