    MFT Pretty Posies – create your own ‘patterned paper’

    Hey lovelies. Hope your having a great day? Today’s card was definitely inspired by my last card – I loved the colour combo so much that I had to recreate it, this time using the MFT Pretty Posies set. I love being able to create my own ‘patterned paper’. The sentiment is from Wplus9 doodle buds stamp set. Would love to know what you think.     Vellum and Shimmer challenges

    Hey everyone, you know I love the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge and this week it’s Add Some Shimmer.  The card below is my entry. I am also entering this into a blog named hero challenge on vellum. I stamped flowers and leaves from MFT pretty posies set onto vellum with my Hero Arts Black India Ink, quickly coloured them with my copics and fussy cut them out.  This hero arts ink is great on vellum, it doesn’t take long to dry and still looks crisp and black.  I used the MFT peekaboo circle to cut an opening into my top card panel and then glued my flowers around the…

    Distress effect gold embossing

    I wanted to try something a little more edgy with this card. I had a beautiful piece if Aztec/geometric black card and my MFT Pretty Posies stamp set was also on my craft table so I decided to see if I could combine both. Starting with a light green card base I stamped an outline flower with hero arts black India ink all over. Then I stamped the centres with versamark, a sticky ink, poured over gold embossing powder and heat embossed.
