The beautiful pattern papers and the floral stamp set are truly a joy for me and make creating so easy. Over on Instagram one of the talented card makers that I follow is Alex Syberia and she has been challenging us to dot colouring with our alcohol markers. GD Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge – Die Cutting
I am extremely honoured and excited to be a guest designer for the next two weeks in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge. The current challenge #92 is Die Cutting. There are so many fun techniques you can do with dies. I had so much fun that I made four cards. 1. Rainbow clouds
Hey everyone Todays card is to cheer you up. It’s grey and drizzly here in N.E Scotland today (even tho its summer) and so I thought a rainbow of colours was appropriate. I used two Simon Says Stamp Love makes a home cloud dies to create my own stencil and then used clarity brushes and distress inks to create my background. I trimmed it down and added to a minty cardbase. I stamped the SSS Happy Days kite with distress inks again in a rainbow assortment and fussy cut it out. Gold watercolour wedding card using Simon Says Stamp
Hey lovelies. I have made lots of cards with the fabulous spring flowers set by Simon Says Stamp and I’m still not fed up of it. Hope you are still enjoying the cards too! Today’s card combined some of my favourite techniques – heat embossing and then watercolouring with the gold and pearlescent colours from my gansai tambi paints. I die cut my new spellbinders nest-abilities basic hearts in gold and white paper, used my mini Misti to stamp all the sentiments and then assembled the card. The sentiments are by Mama Elephant.
