Hiya friends, I hope you are having a great day? Harvey is full of the cold and passing it on to me I think so before I get ill I wanted to show you a few more cards I have made with the Wplus9 doodle buds set. I love this set so much as I’m sure you have already guessed, lol, hope you’re not too bored of them.
For the first card I stamped a flower onto watercolour paper with my hero arts black India ink and again into some masking paper. I cut out my mask and then covered the flower on my watercolour piece so that I could stamp again in either side and that gives the flowers some dimension. I used my gansai tambi watercolour paints to add a wash of beautiful teal blue and when dry I stamped the sentiment. I used my new mini Misti tool so that I could get a clean crisp sentiment as I could double stamp it perfectly. Then I stamped all over the front of my white A6 (like US A2) card base used double sided tape to adhere my Watercolor panel and added sequins using multi medium matte glue.
My second card is very similar so I won’t bore you with the process, here’s the card. I just love creating my own backgrounds with stamps!
My final card was based around a lovely embossed flower background a friend gave me – I don’t know the company or name of it, sorry! I just started playing with scraps from my desk and did a bit of distress ink smoothing – I’m not sure if I love ink smoothing because it’s hard for me to not control everything or have it looking perfect. For the sentiment I used the love label sentiment set by Altenew and I covered my central doodle bud flower and the sentiment with a coating of glossy accents, it’s hard to see in the photos but looks great in person.
