Stampin Up review and card

Hey everyone!

Todays cards features products by Stampin’ Up.  I have a lovely friend Lisa who is a  Stampin Up demonstrator here in the N.E of Scotland.  I’ve never used their products before and had a lovely afternoon yesterday hosted by Lisa and playing with some of the newer products and trying out the inks.

I have to say how impressed I was by the quality of the stamps, the lovely ink colours and beautiful sentiments.

For my card today I used the gorgeous girl and sentiment from the  Beautiful You set on top of a background stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set.

I stamped my images and background in Basic Grey  and the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum.  I watercoloured the beautiful image with new pencils released for the Spring/Summer 2017 – they are really beautiful colours, rich pigment and easy to use.  If you are new to watercolouring then these, an aqua brush and watercolour paper are all you need to get great results.  I also think that for £14.50 these are a great price! Another product added to my wishlist. Lol.

I am not affiliated to Stampin Up but have directed you to my friend Lisa’s page through the links.  If you fancy buying anything you can order online with the piece of mind that she will answer any questions you have if you want to talk to someone.  Products can be posted anywhere in the UK and Europe. Plus just now if you spend £45 you can get something from the sale-a-bration catalogue for free! There is a set called Hey Chick in the sale-a-bration catalogue that I have my eye on. Wink wink.
