Hi everyone. Hope your week is going well?
For today’s card I was again trying to stretch my ‘creative muscles’ and try something a bit different for me. Keren has challenged us through Winnie and Walter to create cards with an element off the page. What do you think? Is this a success?
I personally am really pleased with it. I incorporated lots of techniques – die cutting, stencilling, ink blending, watercolour, fussy cutting etc. The lovely paper is by pebbles called Lullaby. The images and sentiments are by Winnie and Walter – welcome to the Family and sending you . I made the heart out of three layers of cardstock to give it some stability and sandwiched acetate between the layers so that it looks like it’s floating. You can’t really see in the photos but I also added clear wink of Stella to the clouds for some added shimmer.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Winnie and Walter Off the Page challenge
Winnie and Walter Stencil challenge – I used a cloud stencil that I created on my silhouette cameo
Winnie and Walter three Challenge – I used three clouds and three star sequins
Winnie and Walter Cute Critter Challenge
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Transport it – my cute elephant is being lifted away (transported) on the cloud balloon
