Winnie and Walter

Gratitude for all you do

Hi friends

As you know by now Winnie and Walter have a number of challenges on at the moment to celebrate their 4th anniversary!

Here is another card for the celebrations. One of the challenges encourages us to use some of our scraps. I must admit to having a draw full of poly pockets (that I never get out). But I do have a few pieces on my desk waiting for inspiration to strike.

So i grabbed one bed one of the watercolour backgrounds and a leaf and flower from Winnie and Walters In Bloom: Addies garden set. I stamped them on the background and then fussy cut them out.

Next I took a side folding card base and used the W&W leaf stencil and black distress oxide ink to create a soft background. The sentiment is from the w&w sending love stamp set and some ranger enamel dots complete this design.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Use your scraps with Kelly

Watercolor with a Twist with Heather

country View Challenge : anything but cute

WOW!!! Love this card that you were able to create with your scraps! And I enjoyed the photos you shared of your current stash of scraps. I see you have a few more you were able to make and can’t wait to take a closer look!! So glad you were able to join in my Use Your Scraps challenge!

Gorgeous card – I love the contrast between the foreground and the background! Thanks so much for joining us at Countryview Crafts and good luck in the draw. Hugs rachel xx
