Hi everyone. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Today’s card is another play with the cute Winnie and Walter Welcome to the Family set. We have been challenged by Keren at Winnie and Walter to create a card with an element off the page. This is totally outside my comfort zone, but it’s nice to try new processes and techniques isn’t it?
I watercoloured the cute elephant image and fussy cut it. I used a cloud stencil I created with my silhouette cameo to make a soft yellow background.
Then I used spellbinders nestabilities heart dies to cut acetate, patterned paper and white cardstock a number of times so that when glued together they would create a shaker.
Once attached to my card panel I freehand drew the balloon string with a zig watercolour marker down to the elephant tail so that he appears to be floating in the clouds attached to the balloon. The sentiment is from the same Winnie and Walter set as the cute elephant. A smattering of sequins finishes this card. Hope you like it.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Yes!! Love the movement- and the shaker element off the page! This is so cute and clever and it’s a skill to making something more complex look easy! xx
